ToneBoosters Morphit: Headphones Correction and Simulation Plugin
ToneBoosters Morphit is an AUv3 / IAA plugin designed to correct and simulate headphones for accurate monitoring and calibration. It removes any unwanted coloration from your headphones, allowing you to mix with studio reference equalization and improve the accuracy of your audio. Trusted by thousands of studios worldwide, ToneBoosters Morphit is now available on your iPhone.
With the ToneBoosters Morphit app, you can capture microphone or external sound card input and process the signals in real time. Simply use an AUv3-compatible host app such as Steinberg Cubasis, Apple Garageband, Audio Evolution Mobile Studio, Auria, AUM, or others to utilize Morphit as a plug-in. It will appear in the list of Audio Unit extensions for effect plug-ins.
Key features of ToneBoosters Morphit include the ability to morph the amount of correction from 0 to 200%, simulate any supported headphones to see how your mix translates, personalize the headphones target curve, and use Harman calibration/target curves. The app supports hundreds of headphones, and no external hardware is required.
ToneBoosters Morphit also offers undo/redo and A/B comparison, color themes for the user interface, maximum screen support in Garageband, and legacy Inter-App Audio (IAA) support. It is optimized for iPad but is also compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch.
Please note that Inter-App Audio (IAA) can only use one instance of the app simultaneously, so it is recommended to use an AUv3 host for multiple instances. Licenses acquired for this platform are not compatible with other platforms. Audio Unit (AUv3) extensions require an iPad mini 2, iPad 4, or later models.
